Africa for Peace Sports Festival: Organizers Extend Registration by One Week

The Local Organizing Committee of the Africa for Peace Sports Festival has announced a one-week extension for registration, following numerous appeals from sports enthusiasts and prospective participants across Delta State.

According to a statement signed by the LOC Chairman and former Super Eagles midfielder, Mr. Edema Fuludu, the new registration deadline is now Monday, November 3, 2025.

Fuludu said the extension became necessary to give more teams and individuals the opportunity to participate in the continent’s fast-rising community sports fiesta, which features a total cash prize of ₦10 million up for grabs across various sporting events.

He further explained that games with fewer than eight registered participants will be canceled, with full refunds made to affected teams or individuals.

Interested participants are to send their payment receipts alongside their team name, type of sport/game, and WhatsApp number to Mr. Malo (08145120522) or Mr. Ola (08061675744).

Payments are to be made to the following account:

  • Account Name: K&Q/Games-Village
  • Account Number: 5893748346
  • Bank: Moniepoint

Fuludu urged sports lovers not to miss this golden opportunity to compete, network, and promote peace through sports, adding that the festival continues to grow as one of Delta State’s most unifying grassroots initiatives.

The Africa for Peace Sports Festival is scheduled to hold at the Games Village, with participants expected from across Nigeria.
