Foreign based Nigerian Coach calls for more investment in African football



Benin Republic based Nigerian born soccer tactician,Coach Paul Offor says there's need for Africa football stakeholders to focus more on development of football at the gressroot level.

Coach Paul who is currently the manager of Djeffa FC of Benin Republic, said investing in developmental infrastructures will set the continent on the path of becoming power house in global soccer.

While congratulating Nigeria Flamingos for finishing 3rd at the just concluded FIFA U-17 World Cup,he called for propper developmental program that will that will aid their transition.

"The continent has not placed enough emphasis on the development of football, with the quality and quantity of talents we, African countries should be making some good earnings through the development and exporting of such talents".

Coach Paul further quipp" football holds unttapped potential and capacity capable of transforming the fortunes of many countries.We need to go beyond paying lip service to and that is  I am particularly excited about the youth project at Djeffa FC".
