OFFICIAL: Guardiola to join Man City

Manchester City have confirmed that Pep Guardiola will replace Manuel Pellegrini this summer.

As revealed at the start of January that City had already won the race for the 45-year-old after he revealed his decision to leave Bayern Munich.

Pellegrini had remained tight-lipped over his own future, but City have now confirmed that the Chilean, will be not be staying on beyond the end of the season.

In a video currently trending on social media, Chief Emami said his advice was based purely on practical and economic reasons that could have affected the timely and cost-effective completion of the project. He noted that the logistical challenges and high cost of transporting construction materials and equipment to Ugborodo made it less suitable for such project given the amount available.
