Alexis Sanchez could return against Stoke City on Sunday if he passes a late fitness test


Alexis Sanchez could return against Stoke City on Sunday after six weeks on the sidelines with the Arsenal attacker to undergo a late fitness test.

Arsene Wenger admits he will be 'cautious' in using Sanchez following his hamstring problem and will only make a decision on his availability the day before they travel to the Britannia Stadium.
Sanchez's last appearance was against Norwich in a 1-1 draw on November 29 and the 27-year-old is close to returning, though Wenger is not going to rush him.

In a video currently trending on social media, Chief Emami said his advice was based purely on practical and economic reasons that could have affected the timely and cost-effective completion of the project.
