Lewis Hamilton insists he and Nico Rosberg have never been close friends

The Mercedes pair have had a history of spats since competing in the same team
Lewis Hamilton has once again opened up about his relationship with Nico Rosberg, insisting the pair have never been close friends and won't ever be while they continue to compete.

The Brit beat his Mercedes team-mate to the world title this year, just like he did in 2014, and they have continued to have several high-profile spats.

These include Rosberg throwing a cap at Hamilton after he sealed his third world championship in Austin, while the most recent comment came from Lewis when he said there was no reason to buy each other Christmas presents, or even cards, this year.

In a video currently trending on social media, Chief Emami said his advice was based purely on practical and economic reasons that could have affected the timely and cost-effective completion of the project. He noted that the logistical challenges and high cost of transporting construction materials and equipment to Ugborodo made it less suitable for such project given the amount available.
