David de Gea completes shock U-turn, signs four-year deal at Manchester United

Spanish goalkeeper David de Gea has signed a new four-year deal at Manchester United

David de Gea has signed a new four-year deal at Manchester United after seeing his dream move to Real Madrid fall apart on transfer deadline day last week.

The 24-year-old goalkeeper initiated talks after the collapse of a £29million move to Madrid as he had grown tired of the furore over his future.
United said in a statement released on their official Twitter account: 'David de Gea has signed a new four-year contract at Manchester United with an option to extend for a further year.'
