Usain Bolt insists he is good shape

Bolt has admitted he would have liked to have run more races in the build up to the World Championships

Usain Bolt said he is in the shape of his life ahead of his ‘good versus evil’ showdown against twice drugs cheat Justin Gatlin in the World Championships 100m final on Sunday.

The Jamaican dismissed worries that he was not sharp enough to defeat Gatlin, who is unbeaten in 27 races and favourite for both 100m and 200m gold in Beijing.
‘I'm at my best, that’s all I can say,’ said Bolt, ‘I’m in great form, I’m happy with where I’m at. I’ve been running good, my start has come together at the right time, I’m happy so I’m ready to go.’ Bolt leaves the rest of the 100m field trailing as he wins gold
