Liverpool 0-3 West Ham: Coutinho sent off in shock defeat

Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho saw red as Brendan Rodgers side fell to a 3-0 defeat to West Ham United.

The Reds suffered their first defeat of the season as first half goals from Manuel Lanzini and Mark Noble gave the Hammers a half-time lead.

The Anfield side came close to pinching a first-half goal as Roberto Firmino struck the woodwork, but could not present a constant offensive challenge to Slaven Bilic's side.

Diafra Sakho wrapped up the win in second half stoppage time, following a red card apiece as Coutinho was dismissed for a second bookable offence on 52 minutes and West Ham captain Noble saw red after 78 minutes.
