Oliseh invites 23 NPFL stars to camp
Nigeria coach Sunday Oliseh has invited 23 players from the domestic league to begin camp ahead of next month’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Tanzania in Dar es Salam.

A few players were retained from Stephen Keshi’s era including Warri Wolves’ Gbolahan Salami, Solomon Kwambe and Nelson Ogbonnaya, while current NPFL leading scorer Tunde Adeniji and Bright Ejike of Heartland have been handed a first time call up

In a video currently trending on social media, Chief Emami said his advice was based purely on practical and economic reasons that could have affected the timely and cost-effective completion of the project. He noted that the logistical challenges and high cost of transporting construction materials and equipment to Ugborodo made it less suitable for such project given the amount available.
