Arsenal midfielder Mathieu Flamini won't concede defeat

Mathieu Flamini says he will not give up easily on his hopes of regaining a place in Arsenal's first team

Mathieu Flamini has vowed to keep fighting for his Arsenal place despite losing out to the emergence of Francis Coquelin.

Flamini was dropped by Arsene Wenger after Coquelin was recalled from a loan spell at Charlton in December and impressed at the Emirates Stadium with his aggressive and energetic performances.
Coquelin became the reliable midfield ball-winner Wenger had been craving as Flamini struggled with injury but the 31-year-old, who returned to the club from AC Milan, is determined to find a way back into the team.
