Warri Wolves get fresh dates for 3SC, Kwara United, El Kanemi
Warri Wolves now have new dates for their outstanding league matches which piled up because of their involvement in the Caf Confederation Cup as the League Management Company gave the Seasiders fresh dates for their outstanding games.
LMC has fixed Wednesday, July 15 as the date for Warri Wolves’ cracker with 3SC of Ibadan slated for the Lekan Salami Stadium, Ibadan. It was supposed to have been played along with Week 7 ties.
According to a release made available to the media officer, Etu Moses, the LMC through a letter signed by its Chief Operating Officer, Salisu Abubakar has also rescheduled their Week 9 match with Kwara United in Ilorin for July 22, while the Week 4 tie against El-kanemi would now be played on Friday, 26th July at the Warri City Stadium.
"We have just been told of new dates for the three outstanding matches involving our Club with that of Shooting on the 15th in Ibadan, Kwara United, on the 22nd in Ilorin while El-kanemi will come to Warri on the 26th. We want our fans to take note of these dates and turn up in large numbers in various venues to cheer the team," said Etu.
Meanwhile, the LMC has confirmed that Akwa Unted will host Warri Wolves in Godswill Akpabio Stadium otherwise known as Nest of Champions this weekend in Uyo.
Warri Wolves are 12th on the log after thier surprise home loss to Enugu Rangers. They have 16 points from 10 matches.
