OFFICIAL:Real Madrid confirm Rafa Benitez as coach

Rafa Benitez has joined Real Madrid as manager on a three-year deal, replacing Carlo Ancelotti

Real Madrid have confirmed Rafa Benitez as their new manager, with the Spaniard signing a three-year deal.

The 55-year-old departed Italian club Napoli upon the expiry of his contract at the end of this season, with the club finishing fifth in Serie A. He will be presented as Madrid boss at a press conference on Wednesday.
Benitez replaces Carlo Ancelotti, who Madrid parted company with after a season without winning a major trophy at the Santiago Bernabeu.
