Danny Ings will join Liverpool on July 1 after allowing his contract with Burnley to run down

Danny Ings will join Liverpool on July 1 subject to a medical after he agreed personal terms.

The England Under 21 international has long been a target for Liverpool, who were interested in taking Ings during the January transfer window and then loaning him back to Burnley.
That was not possible but Liverpool have remained patient and struck an agreement with the 22-year-old, whose contract at Turf Moor expires at the end of the month.

In a video currently trending on social media, Chief Emami said his advice was based purely on practical and economic reasons that could have affected the timely and cost-effective completion of the project.
