Rodgers: I'll leave Liverpool if ....
Brendan Rodgers has vowed to walk away from Liverpool if the club's owners want him to after an "embarrassing" 6-1 defeat at the hands of Stoke City.
Liverpool were thrashed at the Britannia Stadium as Stoke scored five goals in the first half on the final day of the season.
The game was played against the backdrop of uncertainty surrounding Raheem Sterling's future after the club failed to secure a top four finish this season, and Rodgers has declared himself ready to walk away.
"It was embarrassing and if the owners want me to go, I'll go," he told reporters after the game.
He added: "I take full responsibility for today as manager, we have to go away and fix this."
