Wenger demands immediate Arsenal response after Tottenham defeat

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger demands that his side "respond very quickly" to Saturday's 2-1 defeat to Tottenham in the north London derby.

The Gunners let slip a 1-0 lead at White Hart Lane as Spurs took the points thanks to Harry Kane's double to leapfrog Wenger's side and move them into fifth in the table.

Arsenal now face struggling Leicester City at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday, with the Frenchman keen for his side to return to winning ways immediately.

"It's not the first time we lose a game but how we bounce back is to take the information from what we got on Saturday and respond very quickly on Tuesday," he told reporters.

"It's disappointing because we did fight hard together but we made too many technical mistakes.
