Kwara United to announce new coach on Friday

 General Manager of Nigeria Premier League side Kwara United Haruna Maigidasanma, has revealed that the Ilorin based club will officially announced its new technical adviser on Friday.

Maigidasanma, said the management and the Kwara State's Sports Ministry are currently in talks over who will emerge as the new head coach of the Afonja Warriors.

Kwara United secured an instant return to the top-flight alongside Wikki Tourists from Group A after they were awarded three points and three goals in their inconclusive disputed final game with Ranchers Bees in the Nigeria National League last season.

According to Maigidasanma, six coaches took part in the screening and interview exercise conducted by the state Sports Ministry on Tuesday which had former captain Tunde Sanni, Tunde Abdulrahman who promoted Wikki Tourist quizzed for the vacant post.

In a video currently trending on social media, Chief Emami said his advice was based purely on practical and economic reasons that could have affected the timely and cost-effective completion of the project.
