Raheem Sterling lined up as 'Plan B' if Bayern Munich fail to land Marco Reus

Liverpool forward Raheem Sterling (centre) has emerged as an alternative target for Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich are ready to turn to Liverpool star Raheem Sterling as their 'Plan B' if a move for Dortmund's Marcos Reus fails.

According to a report in German sports daily Bild, Bayern boss Pep Guardiola has 'instructed' his brother Pere Guardiola - Luis Suarez's agent - to begin talks with representatives of the England international.
Bayern’s top transfer target is Reus, although the 25-year-old is understood to have doubts about following the likes of Germany colleague Mario Gotze and Poland striker Robert Lewandowski to the Allianz Arena.
