Nigerians Abroad: Ogbeche, Ujah, Utaka score...
Sammy Ameobi was impressive for Newcastle United in their 2-1 victory against West Bromwich Albion in an English Premier League game on Saturday afternoon. The former Flying Eagles invitee was replaced by Yohan Gouffran in the 78th minute. It was Ameobi’s seventh game of the season with a goal to his name.
Victor Moses was on from start to finish in Stoke City’s 2-1 victory against Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane. First half strikes from Borjan Krkic and Jonathan Walters were all the Potters needed to stun the hosts. The game was his ninth in the English Premier League with a goal to his credit.
Sone Aluko was handed a starter’s shirt in Hull City's 1-0 defeat at Burnley. The Tigers bowed to Ashley Barnes' strike in the early minutes of the second half. Aluko was replaced in the 51st minute by Stephen Quinn. The game was his fifth appearance for Hull this season.
Odion Ighalo was on parade for Watford as they bowed to Ipswich Town 1-0 in the English Championship. The former Granada forward who boasts of a goal this season came on for Fernando Forestier in the 75th minute but his presence could not save his side from defeat.

Vincent Enyeama was in goal for Lille as they lost 2-0 to Reims in a Ligue 1 fixture over the weekend. The Super Eagles first choice goalkeeper is yet to miss a game this season for the French team and has let in twelve goals in all appearances for his side this season. He was in goal during Thursday's 3-0 Europa League loss to Everton.
Elderson Echiejile was on parade for AS Monaco in their 1-1 away draw at Saint Etienne. The Nigerian who was making his fourth appearance for the Principality team came on for Nabil Dirar in the closing stages of the game.

Bartholomew Ogbeche was on target in Cambuur’s 4-2 home defeat to Ajax in a Week 12 Dutch Eredivisie game played on Sunday.
Ogbeche got his side’s second goal in the 90th minute from the penalty spot after a foul had been committed in the penalty area by the hosts.
Cambuur shot into the lead courtesy of Sebastian Steblecki’s strike in the second minute before Ajax replied courtesy Arkadiusz Milik’s goal in the 19 minutes.
Frank de Boer’s team took the lead four minutes later when Davy Klaassen scored after good build-up play from Milik and Lasse Schone.
Poland international Milik then grabbed his brace on the hour mark before Anwar Ghazi’s deflected effort secured the points for Ajax 11 minutes from time, despite Bartholomew Ogbeche's late consolation.
The former PSG forward now boasts of eight goals in twelve matches in all competitions for his side.

John Utaka scored for Sivasspor in their 1-1 draw against Eskişehirspor. Utaka’s goal seems to have handed the hosts the win before they surrendered the lead in stoppage time after Sismanoglu netted for the visitors.

Anthony Ujah was on target for FC Cologne in their 4-3 away win against TSG Hoffenheim in the German Bundesliga on Saturday evening.
His 35 minute strike courtesy of an assist from Pawel Olkowski ensured his team triumphed in the seven goal thriller at the Wirsol Rhein-Neckar-Arena.
Adam Szalai gave the hosts the lead after just two minutes, but Pawel Olowski scored his first goal for Cologne to level soon after.
Ujah profited from a mistake from the hosts to add a third for Cologne with three Hoffenheim defenders just standing and watching as he took the ball past Baumann before slotting it into the unguarded goal.
Ujah now boast of seven goals in the German topflight this season and with this win, Cologne are ranked 10th on the Bundesliga log with 15 points from 11 games.
Chinedu Obasi was dressed in Schalke 04’s 2-0 defeat at Freiburg in the German Bundesliga. Sydney Sam was replaced by Obasi in the 56th minute as Roberto Di Matteo’s men failed to rescue a point away from home.

Ikechukwu Uche featured for Villarreal in their 1-1 draw against Espanyol. The Yellow Submarine forward fired blanks in the encounter and he was replaced by Giovanni dos Santos in the 66th minute. Uche has scored three goals this season for his club.
Ramon Azeez played for 90 minutes in Almeria’s 2-1 home defeat to Barcelona. Goals from Neymar and Jordi Alba caged the hosts who gave a good account of themselves. The Super Eagles midfielder has played eight times this season for the Spanish team. Almeria's goal was scored by Congo's Thievy Bifouma.
Success Isaac was on parade for Granada as they forced Celta Vigo to a 0-0 draw away in the Spanish topflight. The Flying Eagles forward, who has tasted action four times this season, replaced Youssef El Arabi in the 58th minute. He has a goal to his credit this season in La Liga.
