Nigerians Abroad: Dauda, Igboun, James, Martins, Ogbeche grab goals
ENGLAND
Victor Moses was on from start to finish in Stoke City’s 1-0 loss to Leicester City at the Britannia Stadium. The Potters bowed to a 64th-minute strike from Jose Leonardo Ulloa. The Chelsea loanee continues to search for his first Premier League goal since making his debut against Manchester City. Moses has played two league games this season.

Brown Ideye could not stop West Bromwich Albion from going down 2-0 at home to Everton at the Hawthorns on Saturday. Romelu Lukaku and Kevin Mirallas gave the visitors a valuable home win as the Baggies continue to search for their first victory of the season.  Ideye was replaced in the 71st minute by Georgios Samaras. His Nigerian teammate, Victor Anichebe was not listed for action by manager Alan Irvine.
John Obi Mikel wasn't named in the matchday squad for Chelsea’s 4-2 win against Swansea City on Saturday. A Diego Costa hat trick ensured the Blues continued their unbeaten run this season in the English Premier League. Mikel has played two times this season for Jose Mourinho’s men.
Kenneth Omeruo  was overlooked as Middlesbrough secured a 2-1 win at Huddersfield Town in the Championship. Grant Leadbitter’s brace ensured the Riversiders got their third win of the campaign and are placed 11th on the log with nine points. Omeruo has played five times for Boro this season.
Odion Ighalo was on parade for Watford as they went, saw and crashed 1-0 at Charlton Athletic. The former Granada forward came on for Lewis McGugan in the 77th minute but could not erase Yoni Buyens’s first-half penalty.

FRANCE
Vincent Enyeama was on from start to finish in Lille’s 2-0 defeat of FC Nantes in the French Ligue 1 on Sunday. Goals from Divock Origi and Marcos Lopes helped the hosts move to the summit of the French top flight with 11 points from five matches.
Sunday Mba was sent off in CA Bastia’s 1-1 draw at Chambly in the French third division at the Stade des Marais. He was given the marching order by the referee in the 73rd minute of the encounter when his team was down by a lone goal, making it his second red card since he joined CA Bastia.
HOLLAND 
Bartholomew Ogbeche was on target for his Dutch Eredivisie side SC Cambuur as they got the better of FC Groningen on Sunday evening.
His 74th-minute strike doubled his side’s advantage after Albert Rusnak had put the hosts ahead in the 52nd minute. Ogbeche could have put Cambuur a goal ahead in the first half but goalkeeper Sergio Padt was well-positioned to deny him from finding the back of the net.
The 29-year-old now boasts of two league goals from five games this season. He got his first of the campaign against Vitesse on August 16.
Abiola Dauda got a hat trick for Vitesse Arnhem on Sunday in their 3-1 win over Excelsior. The goals were the 26-year-old's first for Vitesse since joining from Serbian club Red Star Belgrade in July. Valuable contributions in the 41st, 60th and 65th minutes gave Vitesse a 3-0 lead, before Excelsior grabbed a late consolation.

RUSSIA
Ahmed Musa was on from start to finish in CSKA Moscow’s 2-1 win against Arsenal Tula on Saturday.
It was the fifth victory for the Army Boys as they continue to push for another Russian League title.
Bebras Natcho’s penalty in the 20th minute put the Krasno-sinie (Red-blues) ahead before Roman Eremenk sealed the win with less than 20 minutes to the end of the game. With this victory, the defending league champions are second on the log with 15 points from 7 games. Musa boasts of seven league games this season.

GERMANY
Anthony Ujah played for 77 minutes as Cologne held Paderborn to a 0-0 draw in the German league. Ujah, who against VFB Stuttgart got his first league goal of the season, could not reignite the spark as he was replaced by Yuya Osako. The game was his third of the season.

SCOTLAND
Efe Ambrose featured for Celtic in their 2-1 win against Aberdeen in the Scottish Premier League on Saturday. The Super Eagles player is yet to miss a game for the Hoops this season as his side continue their giant strides towards defending the title they won last season.
NORWAY

Leke James scored his fifth league goal of the season in Norway in Aalesund's 1-1 draw against Sogndal on match day 23 of the Eliteserien.
The attacker struck two minutes before half time at Fosshaugane Campus to open the scoring but Sogndal battled back and claimed an equaliser in the second half as it finished honours even between two sides in dire need of points.
Leke’s goal helped the Tangotrøyene move up to 11th on the league standings.

DENMARK
Sylvester Igboun got a treble in Midtjylland's 3-2 win over OB Odense to maintain their grip at the top of the Danish Superliga.
He opened the scoring for his side in the 42nd minute but Kasper Larsen equalised in the second half. The Nigerian struck again in the 56th minute before finally sealing off the game with a penalty goal in added time.
The Nigerian has now taken his goal tally to five in the current season..
U.S.A
Obafemi Martins scored his 13th goal in his 23rd Major League Soccer start on Friday night as Seattle Sounders recorded an impressive 3-2 win against visiting Real Salt Lake at the CenturyLink Field.

Martins's 43rd-minute strike made it five goals and three assists in his last five games as the Rave Green boosted their chase for the Supporters' Shield race.

With the victory, Sounders have opened a four points gap atop the Western Conference with 54 points from 27 games.
