Dortmund: Kagawa fit to face Freiburg

Borussia Dortmund midfielder Shinji Kagawa is expected to face Freiburg despite leaving training early on Thursday, according to the club's sporting director Michael Zorc.

The 25-year-old returned to Dortmund late in the transfer window after two years of struggling to shine at Manchester United but was forced out of training with a limp, fuelling rumours in German media that his bow would have to wait beyond this weekend.

However, Zorc said it was precautionary for the former Manchester United man to finish up early as coach Jurgen Klopp looks to deal with the absence of the injured Marco Reus.

"It was a precautionary measure. We assume that he can play Saturday," Zorc told Bild.
