Alan Pardew counsels Sammy Ameobi


Newcastle United gaffer Alan Pardew has told Sammy Ameobi that he is running out of time to prove himself with the Toon.

The 22-year-old forward has failed to tie down a regular place in the team despite showing flashes of his potential since breaking into the first team three years ago.

Sammy is not eligible to leave the Newcastle on a free transfer at the end of the season, but the club could look to offload the former England youth international sooner rather than later should his performances fail to improve, Skysports reports.

"Sammy is a player who has unbelievable talent and we have been waiting and waiting for him to deliver something on the football pitch," said Pardew.

In a video currently trending on social media, Chief Emami said his advice was based purely on practical and economic reasons that could have affected the timely and cost-effective completion of the project.
