Iheanacho scores again for City
Kelechi Iheanacho capped yet another impressive performance
for Manchester City with a goal as they whitewashed AC Milan 5-1 in the
International Champions Cup pre-season tournament game played on Sunday night.
Jesus Navas scored with a spectacular overhead kick in the
23rd minute to extend City's lead before Iheanacho who scored on his debut
against Kansas City added his name to the score sheet two minutes later.
The 17-year-old scored City's fourth of the evening as he
picked the ball from the edge of the box, before shooting past a sea of Milan
shirts as the ball found its way into Agazzi's goal.
Sulley Mutari pulled a goal back for Milan after Alex nodded
a corner kick in his path for him to poke home. But Jovetic restored City's
four goal lead with another goal in the 57th minute after a quick interchange
of passes with Kolarov.
Kelechi Iheancho has now made a good case for himself to be
included in Manchester City's squad for the new 2014/15 season with breath-taking
performances so far in pre-season.
Thus justifying why the club fought off interest from the
likes of FC Porto and Arsenal to sign the World's best teenage footballer.
