Luis Suarez has been hit by a four-month ban from all football for biting Giorgio Chiellini.
He will not play for Liverpool until the end of October and has been banned for nine Uruguay matches, while he has been fined £65,000.
Suarez and the Uruguayan FA are able to appeal against the sanctions, but even if the appeal is lodged and the process is under way he will not be able play in any matches.
