Return: Gareth Bale goes back to his hometown to officially open the new Primary School

Gareth Bale could be relaxing anywhere in the world this summer after his sensational first season at Real Madrid, but instead he has returned to Wales to open his hometown's new primary school.
The Galactico played a key role in Real Madrid's successes in both the Champions League and Copa del Rey, scoring crucial goals in both finals, and is something of a hero in the town where he grew up.
He also unveiled a plaque at Whitchurch Primary School in front of hundreds of students, and spent several hours going around talking to classes. He was also shown around the new building by his former PE teacher Mr Ridout, before hoisting the school flag.
