Mutiu Adepoju says Nigeria will do well in Brazil

Former Nigeria player Mutiu Adepoju has predicted a very good outing for Stephen Keshi’s men at the World Cup which begins in June.

The ex-midfielder, who was nicknamed ‘Headmaster’ due to prowess in scoring with his head, said that with adequate preparation, Nigeria will survive Argentina, Iran and Bosnia-Herzegovina in Group F and also surpass the second round stage.

“Nothing short of a good performance is what Nigerians expect from the Super Eagles and this involves good preparation and also try as much as possible to put in their best,” Adepoju told Goal.

“We have good players, talents and a great technical crew that can take the team to the second round and beyond.
