Ryan Giggs has described his appointment as Manchester United manager as the proudest day of his career.
The country’s most-decorated footballer has been placed in charge at Old Trafford for the final four games of the season after the sacking of David Moyes.

After thanking Moyes for giving him his first chance in coaching last summer, Giggs told a press conference this morning that he would bring back United’s traditions of attacking football.

Speaking ahead of Saturday's home game against Norwich in the Barclays Premier League, Giggs said: 'This is the proudest moment of my career and I will enjoy the next two and a half weeks of the season.
'I will bring back smiles on people’s faces and I cant wait for the game to come.
