 Ryan Giggs tried to steer David Moyes away from the rocks even as the Manchester United manager’s doomed reign entered its final throes.

Giggs, United's interim boss following Moyes's sacking on Tuesday, became an increasingly peripheral figure in the Scot's backroom team and felt that his promotion to player-coach last summer was little more than a PR exercise to please supporters.  
But it did not stop the Old Trafford veteran making a personal plea to his former manager to show leniency to Ashley Young, Danny Welbeck and Tom Cleverley after they were photographed partying into the early hours in Manchester following United’s Champions League defeat by Bayern Munich.

FIFA to Reportedly Probe $1.2 Million Stadium Project in Kebbi State

By Chimaobi Jose Nzoromobi  Warri billionaire businessman and All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, Chief Ayiri Emami, has revealed he advised former Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) President, Amaju Pinnick, not to locate the FIFA Forward Project stadium in Ugborodo, Delta State. In a video currently trending on social media, Chief Emami said his advice was based purely on practical and economic reasons that could have affected the timely and cost-effective completion of the project. He noted that the logistical challenges and high cost of transporting construction materials and equipment to Ugborodo made it less suitable for such project given the amount available.
