Remy blow for Newcastle as loan striker's keen to skip Toon for 'great European club'

Skipping Toon: Loic Remy wants to join a 'great European club', not make a permanent move to Newcastle
Loic Remy is unlikely to remain at Newcastle once his loan spell ends after revealing he wants to join a ‘great European club.’

The 27-year-old forward, who joined the Magpies from Championship outfit Queens Park Rangers, is the club's top scorer this campaign with 13 goals - all coming in the league.
However, the France striker admitted his ambition is to play in European competition next season - something Newcastle cannot offer him with the club currently ninth in the Premier League.
