DONE DEAL: Mata agrees personal terms with Man United after Chelsea sign off record £37m transfer

Gone: Playmaker Juan Mata is poised to complete his £37m move to Manchester United

Jose Mourinho has admitted Chelsea were powerless to stand in Juan Mata's way when the opportunity to move to Manchester United arose.
The Spaniard has undergone a medical at Old Trafford and will officially become a United player once that is passed. A £37million deal has already been signed by both clubs and personal terms have been agreed with the player.
Mata will be ready for selection when David Moyes' side face Cardiff City on Tuesday, and judging by Mourinho's mood the split between the club and player was amicable.
