That was one of my best, says Rooney after scoring 150th Premier League goal

Volley good show: Wayne Rooney leathers the ball into the net for his 150th Premier League goal for United

Wayne Rooney scored ‘one of his best’ goals against Hull City to become the first player to hit 150 in the Premier League for Manchester United.
Only former Arsenal striker Thierry Henry has scored more for one club in the Premier League era after Rooney’s stunning 26th-minute equaliser at the KC Stadium on Boxing Day.
He picked the ball up 25 yards out after a half-clearance from Hull City captain Curtis Davies and, with barely any back lift, hit a brilliant right-foot shot into the top left-hand corner for his 11th goal of the season.
