Januzaj needs protection, says United boss Moyes

Bodyguard: Marouane Fellaini with Adnan Januzaj, who suffered a stamp from Sascha Riether on Saturday
David Moyes insists starlet Adnan Januzaj must be protected by officials after Sascha Riether became the first player to be punished retrospectively for incidents missed by referees.
The young forward was the victim of a vicious stamp by the Fulham defender during United's 3-1 win at Craven Cottage on Saturday.

Charged: Sascha Riether has been charged by the FA for violent conduct - he is the first to be done so under a new pilot scheme that charges retrospectively

Referee Lee Probert and his assistants missed the incident at the time, but replays have since highlighted the clash.

Messi example: Januzaj deserves more protection from referees, says Moyes
