Juventus 2-0 Genoa: Vidal and Tevez get champions back to winning ways

Carlos Tevez Juventus Genoa Serie A

First-half goals from Arturo Vidal and Carlos Tevez ensured Juventus got back to winning ways with a comfortable 2-0 win over Genoa on Sunday.

A controversial penalty call allowed Vidal to hand his side the lead from the spot after 23 minutes before Argentine striker Tevez latched on to Kwadwo Asamoah's pass to double the advantage before the break.

The visitors had Mattia Perin to thank in the second half for keeping the score respectable, but they struggled to muster meaningful chances of their own, allowing Antonio Conte's side to cruise to a morale-boosting win following recent defeats to Real Madrid and Fiorentina.
