Gareth Bale wins PFA Player of Year and Young Player awards


Double delight: Gareth Bale won both the Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year awards on Sunday

Tottenham forward Gareth Bale has been named Professional Footballers' Association Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year.
Bale fought off competition from Liverpool's Luis Suarez and Robin van Persie of Manchester United to win the prestigious main award.
He becomes only the third player to win both awards in the same season.
