Emmanuel Emenike’s “sweet” return has turned sour after he suffered a knee injury on Sunday and will now be out for at least two months.

This means that the 2013 AFCON Goal King will miss Nigeria’s hectic June schedule that will see the Super Eagles play two 2014 World Cup qualifiers as well as feature at the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup in Brazil.

In a video currently trending on social media, Chief Emami said his advice was based purely on practical and economic reasons that could have affected the timely and cost-effective completion of the project. He noted that the logistical challenges and high cost of transporting construction materials and equipment to Ugborodo made it less suitable for such project given the amount available.
