Coutinho nears Liverpool - Transfer LIVE!
The midfielder is due to arrive in England for a medical and to finalise personal terms in the coming days and is set to be Liverpool's second signing of the window.
Liverpool faced competition from Southampton for the Brazilian but appear to have got their man after an Anfield delegation flew to Italy this week to negotiate the transfer.
The Reds have increased their initial €7.6m bid for Coutinho and the 20-year-old is understood to have made clear his preference to move to Anfield.
Liverpool are also believed to be after Blackpool midfielder Tom Ince before the winter transfer window closes.

In a video currently trending on social media, Chief Emami said his advice was based purely on practical and economic reasons that could have affected the timely and cost-effective completion of the project. He noted that the logistical challenges and high cost of transporting construction materials and equipment to Ugborodo made it less suitable for such project given the amount available.
